Low Carb Stuffed French Toast

There's really nothing better than some warm and crunchy french toast!

Low Carb Stuffed French Toast

1 Serving


    ▪ 2 Slices Zero Net Carb Bread⁣
    ▪ 25 Grams Washed Blueberries⁣
    ▪ 25 Grams Sliced Strawberries⁣
    ▪ Walden Farms Blueberry Zero Calories Syrup ⁣
    ▪ 15-20 Grams Plain Non-Fat Greek Yogurt or Yogurt Alternative⁣
    ▪ 1/4 Cup Egg Whites⁣
    ▪ 1/4 Cup Almond Milk⁣
    ▪ 1-2 Teaspoons Stevia⁣
    ▪ 1-2 Teaspoons Cinnamon⁣
    ▪ 1-2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract ⁣

How to 

1. Prep a medium pan by lightly spraying and heating over medium heat⁣

2. While the pan is warming, whisk together almond milk, egg whites, stevia, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a bowl and set aside

3. In a separate bowl, combine blueberries, sliced strawberries, yogurt, and a tablespoon of syrup and set aside⁣

4. Lightly toast bread slices in toaster or pan for 1-2 minutes so that both sides are slightly crispy⁣

5. Once toasted, place berry and yogurt mixture into the middle of one piece of bread. Top with other slice of bread then coat with egg white and milk mixture until everything is coated⁣

6. Place in the warmed pan and cook on either side until the toast is crisp
❗️When you flip the bread, press with spatula for a minute or two so the edges seal together a bit

7. Top with syrup & enjoy!!
