Buy It & Try It

Signature Kitchens Frozen Diced Onion
Store I Purchase At: Jewel Osco (Parent company: Albertsons)
Typical Price: $1-$3
Where In The Store: Frozen veggies aisle
Tips:
1. If you're anything like me, cutting onions leaves you sobbing and your eyes burning! Well I'm here to tell you that frozen diced onions are here to save your life!
2. I've tried to chop onions myself and freeze them and they always smell up the entire kitchen--these have no smell and are so easy to pop into your breakfast, lunch, or dinner! They defrost super quick and crisp up just like fresh onions would

Chicken Broth
Store I Purchase At: Aldi or Jewel Osco (Parent company: Albertsons)
Typical Price: $1-$3
Where In The Store: Canned soups and goods
Tips:
1. Definitely one of those products I believe you should always have on hand! Great for making soups or mixing together with some flour to create a great cream sauce!
2. I will say, there are tons of times that I go to use just 1/4 or 1/2 cup of chicken broth and then the rest of the container sits there and goes bad in about a week or two so I've started to use bullion cubes a lot more--same concept just dried out and you add to water to create your own chicken broth
3. If you're making a stew or chili or large amount of sauce, a large container of chicken broth is the way to go though!
