Greek Yogurt Low-Carb Bagels
Bagels with 1/3 the calories!

8 Servings
72 Calories: 3.3P/14C/3C
Ingredients
- ▪ 240 Grams All Purpose Flour
▪ 185-190 Grams Non-Fat Plain Greek Yogurt
❗️ Can always add more once kneading if consistency is too dry
▪ 4 Teaspoons Baking Powder
▪ 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
▪ 1 Egg or Egg White
Toppings:
▪ Grated Parmessan
▪ Italian Cheese Blend
▪ Everything Bagel Seasoning
How to
1. Preheat oven to 350˚ and prep baking sheet by lining with parchment paper and lightly spraying with non-stick spray
2. Mix dry ingredients together before adding in greek yogurt. Mix until clumpy then begin kneading on a floured surface
3. Weigh out the dough and evenly split into 8 before creating your favorite styles (classic, twisted, bites)
4. Brush each bagel with egg and add toppings
❗️ To get the toppings to stick to the bagels I like to place my toppings in a bowl then dip the coated bagel into the seasoning/topping so you don't end up with crumbles all over the tray that burn first!
5. Bake for 20 minutes & broil for 1-2 if desired!
Buy It & Try It
Non-Fat Plain Greek Yogurt
Store I Purchase At: Aldi or Jewel Osco (Parent company: Albertsons)
Typical Price: $3-$5
Where In The Store: Yogurt section
Tips:
1. Great source of protein and probiotic! I love to buy plain because it's really a blank canvas--you can use it to make Tatziki sauce or add some syrup and fruit and make it super sweet!
2. Minimal carbs and no fat per serving and really just a blank canvas! You can flavor and use it however you want!
3. Don't limit yourself with this product--you can create cream sauces, cream cheese spreads, and even homemade biscuits!
Everything Bagel Seasoning
Store I Purchase At: Aldi
Typical Price: $1-$3
Where In The Store: Seasoning section
Tips:
1. By now I'm sure we're all obsessed with this seasoning! For me, Aldi has the best flavor and the best price when it comes down to it!
2. I have seen a lot of "everything bagel" seaoning at Tj Maxx or Homegoods in larger packaging and relatively low prices but I'm here to warn you and say, not all everything bagel seasonings are created equal!
3. I have heard people obsess over Trader Joes version--I think it's pretty much the same, Aldi just has better pricing!
Liquid Egg Whites
Store I Purchase At: Aldi
Typical Price: $3-$5
Where In The Store: Seasoning section
Tips:
1. Every time I go grocery shopping this is something that I'm throwing in my cart! Great to add to whole eggs for breakfast or as a replacement for whole eggs in baking!
2. You can pretty much get liquid egg whites at any grocery store these days but I stick with Aldi because the flavor/product is consistent and the pricing is always the best when compared to the competition
