How to

Bread Version:
1. Spray medium sized pan with cooking spray and warm over medium. While pan is warming, prepare beef by adding seasoning of choice & chopped fresh/frozen onions, then separate evenly into 4 patties that are roughly the size and shape of the bread it will be going on

2. Place 2 patties in the pan at a time and cover for 3-4 minutes or until browning begins on the top of the patty. Uncover, flip patties, and cook for a few more minutes depending on how well you like your burgers (can grill as well I just usually make this on the stove)

3. While burgers are cooking, toast bread and slice tomatoes and avocados

4.When ready for assembly, brush queso on either slice of bread before adding one patty, topping with avocado and tomato and any other toppings you choose

Low-Carb Version:

3. While burgers are cooking, warm tortillas in microwave for 10 seconds and slice tomatoes and avocados

4.When ready for assembly, brush queso on the tortilla before adding one patty, topping with avocado and tomato and any other toppings you choose

5. Place second tortilla on top and tuck into bottom tortilla. Bottom tortilla edges should be on top/outside the top tortilla

6. Carefully flip over and place into sprayed and warmed pan for a few minutes to seal edges

Store I Purchase At: Jewel Osco (Parent company: Albertsons)
Typical Price: $1-$3
Where In The Store: Frozen veggies aisle
Tips:
1. If you're anything like me, cutting onions leaves you sobbing and your eyes burning! Well I'm here to tell you that frozen diced onions are here to save your life!
2. I've tried to chop onions myself and freeze them and they always smell up the entire kitchen--these have no smell and are so easy to pop into your breakfast, lunch, or dinner! They defrost super quick and crisp up just like fresh onions would

Good Foods Queso:
Store I Purchase At: Aldi or Target
Typical Price: $2-$4
Where In The Store: By the dips/fresh salsa/hummus
Tips:
1. Similar to dessert hummus, I could eat this stuff by the spoon! Made with veggies (aka it's vegan!) this stuff is low calorie and amazing to dip your veggies into or to make some nachos with!
2. They actually make a few different vegan and low calorie "dips" that I love and usually have in my fridge! Flavors include: Avocado Pesto and Cilantro Style Dip

Egg Life Wraps
Store I Purchase At: Jewel Osco (Parent company: Albertsons), Mariano's, Sunset Foods

2. Hands down the best alternative I've found! They don't rip or crumble easily like the competitors
3. I typically will buy the plain flavor just because that allows me to play around with them and make sweet and savory recipes!
