Vegan Chocolate Tahini Donuts

Ingredients

    For The Donut
    ▪ 1.5 Cups Flour
    ▪ 1/2-1 Cup Stevia
    ▪ 60 Grams Sugar
    ▪ 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
    ▪ 1 Teaspoon White Vinegar
    ▪ 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
    ▪ 5 Tablespoons Tahini
    ▪ 1.5 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
    ▪ 1 Cup Water

    For the Chocolate Glaze
    ▪ 1/3 Cup Powdered Sugar
    ▪ 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
    ▪ 1/4 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa
    ▪ 1/4 Cup Almond MIlk
    ▪ Mini Vegan Chocolate Chips (or sprinkles, coconut, nuts, etc)

How to 

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prep a donut pan by lightly spraying with non-stick spray

2. In a large bowl whisk together all dry ingredients for the donut before adding in all the wet.

3.Spoon batter into donut pans and bake for 12-15 minutes

4. While donuts are baking, using a hand mixer, combine all ingredients for the chocolate glaze, except for the almond milk

5. Slowly add in milk until consistency easily drizzles

6. Once donuts are bakes and cooled, dip top half into the chocolate glaze then place dry side down on a rack and top with chocolate chips or topping of choice

7. Let sit for 15-20 minutes before serving

Tips:
1. If you're vegan and you love to recreate recipes, I'm sure you'll come across tahini at some point! It's great to throw into a baking recipe and is most similar to peanut butter. It has a nutty flavor but also is creamy!
2. Tahini is also not only for baking, but also goes great with a lot of mediterranean foods like falafel! It also doubles as a great salad dressing or dip for your fresh veggies!
